Ireland vs Wales
October 8th, 2011
Wellington Regional Stadium, New Zealand

2011 Rugby World Cup of quarter finals will meet Ireland vs Wales on October 8th, 2011. This is a knockout stage so who will win this game will go to semi-finals. Ireland is winner of Pool C while Wales is runner-up of Pool D.

This game will become an interesting match. Wales absolutely dismantled Fiji 66-0 in their last match of pool play, but a more result more telling of the potential of the Welsh side came in the first fixture. Wales became runner-up of Pool D while the winner of this Pool is South Africa.

While Wales became runner-up, Ireland became the top position of Pool C. Ireland had a somewhat disappointing outing over United States on September 11 in the first match. But Ireland began to come on strong in the scoring department. First they mauled the Bears of Russia 62-12, then took apart Italy 36-6 to close out pool play.
