All teams of 2011 Rugby World Cup Contestants have finished for playing their matches in Group Stage. Top and second position of group will go to quarter finals. And 8 teams who went to quarter finals are Ireland, Wales, England, France, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina. All teams will play their quarter-finals match that will be started on October 8, 2011.
From eight teams will be chosen 4 teams who will go to semi-finals. Quarter Finals uses a knockout system. So they just play one match and a winner will go to semi-finals.
